Bill Walton has built a great sales leadership career for himself. He's climbed the sales org chart to the level of VP or Head of Sales for a few organizations we've all heard of.
Today we discuss sales management sales training and many of the lessons that Bill has learned through many years in sales, sales management, and sales leadership. Along the way, Bill has also been responsible for sales enablement and sales training at organizations like Grainger.
In our conversation, bill and I discussed the challenges of leading individual contributors effectively and efficiently versus simply trying to do more of what made a sales manager or sales leader successful in their previous roles.
